Gazer CKR4400 surround view system is Gazer’s trending technology designed to ensure safe and comfortable driving. The model is a multipurpose device that can be used as a surround viewer, a car DVR and a video surveillance system in a parked car.
The video system consists of four universal video cameras, a special processing unit that merges the video feed from all cameras into a single panoramic image. One can see everything that happens around the car on the monitor in real time and in “plan view” without any blind spots. Video feed from each of the cameras is recorded on a micro SD memory card or a USD stick as a separate video channel in the loop mode. After the engine is turned off, the system automatically records video clips whenever the impact sensor (G-sensor) is tripped, while the on-board power system voltage control function will prevent the car battery from discharging.
Such integrated solution provides full control of the situation around the car and obstacles in “blind” areas significantly increasing safety during reverse driving, parking in a confined space, turning and other maneuvers. Due to Gazer CKR4400 multipurpose operating mode, it can replace several devices at once with road witness and security CCTV functions as a bonus.
Camcorders Gazer CKR4400 system designed for universal use in any model of car. Two side-view video cameras are integrated into the lower parts of the car’s side mirrors. The front-view video camera is installed into the front side of the car body. The rear-view camera is designed for installation into the rear side of the car body. Ultra-hermetic camera bodies
All video cameras have miniature ultra-hermetic IP67 protected bodies, which excludes the possibility of dust and moisture getting inside the device. Such properties coupled with a wide operating temperature range ensure the video cameras’ smooth operation in the most adverse conditions: dirt, dust and countless high-pressure washings.
High quality optics
The key feature of Gazer CKR4400 video cameras is the widest possible viewing angle of 180°, which allows merging video feed into one panoramic image, while the driver gets a true surround view of the situation around the car. To ensure high quality and informative video feed in any time of the day, including in complete darkness, all cameras are based on a highly sensitive HD 1/3’’ (720х480) sensor and stream video in 580 TVL resolution. The system can transmit video signal in PAL or NTSC formats ensuring seamless integration with any display unit.
One of the major advantages of Gazer CKR4400 surround view systems is video recording of everything that happens around the car. Besides the main operating mode, the system can be used as a 4-channel car DVR. In this case, each camera records a separate video channel at D1 (704х576) resolution and 30 frames per second. The video recording process, however, runs without interruptions due to the loop overwriting function. Video clips are stored on a micro SD memory card (up to 32 Gb) or a USB stick.
Besides the surround view function, Gazer CKR4400 system is also capable of video surveillance in a parked car. After the engined is turned off, the device stop recording and shuts down (power consumption in the off mode is less than 12 mА). Once the impact sensor (G-sensor) is tripped, the system turns on automatically, records a 120-second video clip and then shuts down again. The recorded file is automatically protected from deletion during loop overwriting – it can be deleted only manually.
In addition, the system allows adjusting the G-sensor sensitivity to ensure maximum accuracy depending on the weather conditions and situation around the car. To prevent the car battery from discharging, the system controls the voltage of the on-board power system: when it reaches 11.7 V, the device shuts down completely and resumes operation only when the ACC signal is transmitted again (when the engine starts).
