Gazer PAD20 parking display is designed as an accessory for front and rear Gazer PA40R, PA45R, PA40F, and PA45F parking systems and can operate with two systems simultaneously. The display features a graphic map of obstacles located in front of the car and behind it as well as a big digital scale indicating the distance to the nearest object with up to 1 cm accuracy. The built-in speaker with adjustable volume and turn off option emits sound alerts of different frequency for the front and rear systems. The mount with adjustable elevation allows installing the display on a horizontal surface or securing it in the upper section of the windshield.

One or two parking systems support

Gazer PAD20 parking display can be connected to one parking system – front or rear – as well as operate with two systems simultaneously. This way one can expand the parking system by adding front sensors to the rear system or vices versa. With such setup, there is only one display in the passenger compartment, which keeps the driver focused on the road with no need to monitor two displays at the same time. When two systems are operating simultaneously, the central unit of the rear system is connected to the central unit of the front system by means of a cable included in the standard delivery package, while the front unit is connected to the display.

Obstacle indication

Gazer PAD20 parking display shows the car with graphic maps in front of and behind it indicating the distances to potential obstacles. As the car gets closer to an obstacle, certain sectors on the maps are filled with color, which enables the driver to estimate the distance to and location of obstacles in front of and behind the car. Gazer PAD20 parking display also features a big digital scale that indicates the distance to the nearest object with up to 1 cm accuracy. If the distance decreases to 30 cm and less, “– P –” symbol will appear on the screen and sound alerts will become continuous.

Built-in speaker

Gazer PAD20 parking display has a built-in speaker to alert the driver about any obstacles that appear within the field of vision. When an obstacle is detected at a maximum distance, the speaker produces an intermittent acoustic signal with long intervals. As the car gets closer to the obstacle, the intervals grow shorter until at some point, when the distance is minimal, the signal becomes continuous. The frequencies of sound alerts produced by the front and rear systems differ significantly so that the driver could easily tell one from the other. The sound volume can be adjusted in two modes or turned off completely, if needed.

Adjustable mount

The mount that comes with Gazer PAD20 parking display has adjustable elevation. This solution offers plenty of mounting options inside the passenger compartment, which contributes to the ease of use and convenience. The display can be installed on the dashboard by positioning it in the center or to the left. One can also turn the mount bottom up and install the display on the windshield making sure that it is positioned as high and close to the driver’s eyes as possible. The mount allows securing the display under the rear-view mirror or even on the car ceiling.
